    300th Video Extravaganza!

    You It all started last July with a small little mpg4 video device my dad gave me called the Small Wonder.  I fired that thing up and was instantly taken back to the days of my childhood in 1985 where I would sneakily setup the massive camcorder we owned.  It would take forever to noodle through all the cables and inputs, but when it all synched up, I flipped a switch and magic...  This same camcorder was used for lots of other questionable activities when I grew into a teenager but that's another blog.

    I loved making little news shows, commercials and full scale productions.  I had a Casio SK1 keyboard that allowed sampling so I had an effects mixer.  My dad owned an electrical contracting company so I always had lots of props.  I really enjoyed the whole production of the thing, the planning and especially yelling at the actors.  I took my directors chair very seriously and when others thought it was just a game I would get pretty pissed. 

    I never really had much of an audience in those days apart from neighborhood kids or my folks, usually if they saw my little creations I was in trouble.  Then YouTube came along with its mass appeal and Youtubexxx huge numbers I found a new way to share the fun and sometimes sheer lunacy that is my world.  I love the archive power of video and I truly feel that creating virtual scrapbooks and blogs will be a treasure to me one day when I'm a grumpy old man shooting potato cannons at kids "in my yard."

    I have learned a lot about the human condition over the last year while being actively involved with the YouTube community.  Most people when they get some anonymity and are safely behind a computer screen are pretty awful, hateful and just mean.  I do hope that most of what I have encountered are just dumb kids or jealous wannabe techies that cant afford $700 graphics cards, but I wonder.  On the other hand I have met and maintained friends from all over the world including Russia, UK, Oz, Mexico, and all over the states.  You can really feel the power of global communication when you get nice comments in broken English from someone trying really hard to reach out.

    My videos are anything from standard Vblogs to Jackass style stunts and even some tech features, once I even strapped a camera to my elderly dog for an experiment.  I have hit 300 video posts now and they encompass an entire year of my connected life, to celebrate I have decided to make a massive direct link post to show the insanity that is my YouTubes.  I hope this makes some impact because I couldn't figure a script out to directly manufacture these links, so like a rat in a wheel I had to copy and paste over 600 times to make this happen!  I now present a link list that will surely crash any browser, all 300 videos:
