The legendary Larry Wachs actually called me! I have always been so paranoid about answering the phone when I don't recognize the number. Last night I was knee deep in some World of warcraft business when my phone rings. The number wasn't in my contact list so I went back to grinding mobs. When the voice mail came through I realized what a horrible mistake I had made! Larry Wachs of the notorious Regular Guys had called, when he learned from my girlfriend what an uber fan/stalker I was. Being so conditioned from the awful tyrannical marketing we live under I did not answer, missing my chance to speak with pure genius. Witness the horror:
Wachs Faq:
Larry Wachs, a radio talk show host, was a member of the once popular Atlanta Morning Radio Show "The Regular Guys" on 96 Rock along with Eric Von Haessler before the show was canceled due to a lawsuit. Before Atlanta, Wachs' career included stints as a Top 40 disc jockey at WBLI in Long Island (under the pseudonym "Larry Addams"), WBSB (B104) in his hometown of Baltimore, WEGX (Eagle 106) in Philadelphia (as "Fast Larry Wax"), WPXY in Rochester, and WTIC-FM in Hartford, and as a talk show host at KLSX in Los Angeles. He was teamed at times with Eric Von Haessler since Wachs' time in Rochester. From early 2004 to early 2005, Wachs and Von Haessler were off the air due to controversy, and another controversy in October 2006 forced the duo off the air yet again.
In March of 2007, the criminal case against Wachs in the Yogi and Panda controversy that forced the show off the air in October, 2006 was dismissed by the Fulton County DA for having no merit. Consequently, Clear Channel agreed to settle Wachs' breach of contract claims against them in an agreement under which terms were not disclosed.
On January 2nd-12th and April 16th-20th, 2007, Larry Wachs guest hosted "The House of Wachs" radio show on 92.3 Free-FM WFNY-FM NYC in the 9pm - 12am timeslot. Wachs returned as substitute host on May 9 & 11, 2007 and May 11-23, 2007, at 9am-12pm Monday to Friday, the very timeslot vacated by the "indefinite" suspension of radio personalities JV and Elvis. Wachs continued in this timeslot until the station's format change (back to the former K-Rock music format) on May 24, 2007.
UPDATE:
Wachs pontificates on the party!

An excerpt:
Many thanks to Jimmy, Unc..I mean, Cousin Sal, and the management of Channel 2 for inviting me along last evening at the JKL Premiering in Atlanta After 5 Years of News Reruns Party. Everyone was in high-spirits including this reporter.
Still, the hurtful, mean-spirited comments continue to rain down on the parade. There are many sour, jealous people out there of the carefree Wachs lifestyle.
Here's a comment on an article by a person hiding behind the cloak of "noho":
Only Rodney the Ho could work in a reference to that loser Wachs in an article about Jimmy Kimmel.
I won't dispute the fact that, while I am, on balance, somewhat of a loser, I wonder what this Noho person would do in this ethical conundrum:
A friend of yours gets a network TV show. He comes to town to promote it, and extends an invitation to join him for an evening of dinner and dancing despite the fact that you are a loser. Your answer would be no?
OK.
Good choice.
I can see where you're coming from.
I was wrong to go. And it was more wrong that a TV/Radio reporter made note about this. He should be writing about Atlanta TV and radio instead of what radio and TV people are doing in Atlanta.

If you're in a not good position and have no cash to go out from that point, you will have to receive the mortgage loans. Because that would aid you emphatically. I take collateral loan every single year and feel OK just because of this.
