I pride myself on being a lifelong cynic. Suspicious of everything since a child, this strange trait has kept me safe from identity theft, pyramid schemes, and lots of "great" business opportunities. I pretty
much think that everything has a angle of some kind and there is a little dialog that goes on in my head something like this: "what is he selling?" "What does she want?" "If that were true the company itself would be using this system to make money and hiding it!" "Monsters pfft!!" That being said I do have a bit of a controversy in my belief system...
I love cryptozoology. That's right, the guy who only recently believed in Eskimos, is a big fan of such mysterious bullshit as sasquatch, chupacabra and a host of other creatures of fantasy. It may have something to do with my ridiculous imagination, or maybe my love of all things unknown. Either way I have been studying/following the adventurous tales of the quest for unknown species since I was a child. I delight in the science and the silly as far as the whole situation goes and leave the politics alone as I absorb every piece of info I can. Now that you understand the dichotomy of my bizarre thinking a fun heart warming video!
Last weekend as my brother and I were poking around in some digital video captured by our cabin's security video DVR (yes we geeked up the cabin, it was diddy though...) We found a really mysterious thing upon review of the back porch motion file. A playful, angelic creature graced the camera with a cute flyby and then quickly left. Begin the mystery of the lake cabin fairy!
My cynic voice fired! A moth combined wityh IR illumination and interlacing of even and odd fields have created this! My inner child then responded, yes but it did fly in with a perfect circle and has a body with arms and legs! I think it is most likey a massive moth combined with an 8fps capture under heavy IR illumination that created this strange video, but sometimes it is fun to live in a world with just a little mystery left! You decide moth or fairy:
For the ultimate in cynical, this is the original clip for review:

In truth, i believe it to be a fairie...If i didnt know better, i would say you doctored a film clip of your vid and added the sprite your self, BUT i have personally seen with my own two eyes what i believe was a fairie. The only reason i even came to this site and am posting here now, is because the thing i saw was in the exact same shape form and size as the illuminated body upon this video.
I will be lokoing more into the fairie in which i saw locally in my home town ands try to capture it on video myself, but the hopes of that are few and far between. I look forward to seeing more from you. if you get any more footage like this please let me know

Just thank you... I really believe that the reality... is not the one we see every day. I believe the legends of our civilisation are real and that men, thousand and thousand years ago, have saw fairies, gnomes, unicorns,... and, after all this time, it became just legends... That's why I search evidence to prove that all of this exist. And you prove me (as the witness of Aticus that I thank too) that fairies are real...
Thanks a lot for your help ! And if you have some new... don't forget me ! ^^
(I precise that I'm French, so excuse me if there are some mistakes in this comment !)

People say that we who believe in fairies are crazy. But, in reality, it is even more absurd to debunk the existance of something you cannot prove does not exist. I have never seen fairies, but I have felt their presense and acquired their help in my magical workings. There's nothing wrong with believing.

I have to believe this is a faery. I am a cynic myself until a face to face encounter last Spring that really changed my perspectives.
Children always seem more open to these types of things, but it took me until 45 years old to discover what many children believe in so easily. My life is happier for it. Yes, faeries are real.

Your not the only one w/ magic in their lives. I had a troll take up residence a couple weeks back in my garden. Life is better seasoned w/ a splash of magic.

Thank you for this video. People are more ready to debunk fairies than angels, but I think both are real. I have felt them all around me my whole life, probably more so as a child. One of my sons favorite authors says " Life is truly beauitful seen through the eyes of youth"- Mark Kimball Moulton. I say it is so. Fairies are out there, even if we don't believe in them.

I believe in fairy's.I haven't seen them though wish to one day. I think that why they are bright is because we can't see there color. Just like a dog can only see black and white. I believe there here evan though science says otherwise. If you happen to see more or get any new information please tell me.

Ok I saw this clip while watching You Tube and laughing at fake aliens and the like. I am a feet on the ground no nonsense type of guy 35 years old that DOES NOT belive in fairies. However many years ago a friend of mine had reported seeing lights in the local forest in Cornwall near where we live. Three of us set off late at night teasing him all the way to investigate what I had no doubt was his overactive imagination or glowbugs of somesort. While walking through the woods an object glowing like fire of the exact shape, size (about 3 to 4 inches high) and form of what is shown in this clip flew directly passed my head and into the woods at high speed. I looked at my two friends who were both stood open mouthed staring in exaclty the same direction that the shape had dissapeared in. On leaving the woods we got home and discussed what we saw and were all in agreement that we had witnessed exaclty the same thing at the same time. One of the people concerned believes we had a form of group hallucination brought on by our location and subconcious desire to see anything. But I know what I saw, even though I am not willing to offer any explanation as to what it was. However on watching this footage it seems strange to me that it could so accurately represent what we saw that night with our own two eyes. I have no idea if this footage is genuine, or doctored in some way or animation. But it has left me feeling really quite confused and disturbed. This it not the sort of thing that I would usually comment on or buy into, but I felt compelled to report that facts as I had witnessed them, fake footage or no.

It looks like a spider to me. They can sometimes seem to float around on a piece of their silk in the breeze. With the IR and the stop motion type video, some of the shots look weird. I think the idea of a real fairy is cool, but I honestly believe this is just a spider or maybe even a moth.
