Some great time lapse compilations of the huge dump of snow over a small three hour period that occurred January 9, 2011. On the night of January 09, 2011 the entire Metro-Atlanta, Ga., including the Douglasville area was swept across with up to 4-6 inches of unusual snow and ice leaving this beautiful world-wide known southern USA city completely crippled. At 11:00 p.m. Peachtree St. and Five Points in downtown Atlanta looked like a deserted "ghost' town" as shown on the local TV news.
The local Interstates were jammed-packed with motor vehicle accidents with negligent motorist apparently trying to get home not paying any attention to the warnings of this phenomenal southern January snow storm.
Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance.
